Mushroom Dish (Sept 29 & Oct 10)

Join me for a 2-day pottery workshop to create your own Mushroom Dish. With a few tips and tools, learn the basics of rolling out clay, joining slabs and adding texture to build a raised dish for jewelry or soap. During the first day we will hand-build our piece using various textures and carving techniques. During the second, shorter session we will glaze our dish. Pottery will be fired after each class by the instructor and available for pick up approximately 1 week after final class date. We will be using a mid-fire cone 5 clay and a variety of food-safe glazes. No pottery experience is needed and all materials and tools will be provided. Class size maximum of 6 participants. Ages 18+ only.
